What is Reflexology?

Reflexologists work holistically with their clients and aim to work alongside conventional healthcare to promote better health.

We do not claim to cure, diagnose or prescribe. Reflexology has the capability of bringing about a state of deep relaxation. When the body is relaxed and stress is reduced the body works more effectively. With ever increasing levels of stress in everyday modern life, Reflexology can be a way to help with this.

How does Reflexology work?

Areas of the feet correspond to organs and systems of the body. By applying pressure to these areas of the feet it brings about relaxation and helps the body to heal the corresponding areas of the body.

The treatment is always finished with a lovely foot massage.

About Me

Nikki Denny

After nearly a decade in the Care Industry. I decided to have a change and put my skills of empathy and care into practice to pursue something else I was passionate about. I have always been interested in Hollistic therapies and I have tried many over the years. Reflexology is my favourite because as well as being so relaxing it can also bring about a lovely sense of well-being, help with so many things and really put a spring in your step! It has helped me cope with bad headaches and lower back pain.

I am a fully qualified Reflexologist MAR (stands for Member of the Association of reflexologists) and trained in Norwich for 15 months completing a Level 3 ITEC Diploma in Reflexology (Distinction) which involved 100 hours of case studies. The course was accredited by the Association of Reflexologists with whom I am Insured.

I also hold a First Aid Certificate and Barbicide Covid-19 Certification.

Each year as part of our membership we have to achieve CPD (continued Professional Development) points.

So far in 2021 I have completed a Psychological First Aid course and a Mindfulness course.

In addition, I am now qualified in "Reflexology for The Menopause" an accredited course with the AOR. the training included reflexology to help Lymphatic Drainage, a sequence to help Anxiety and also Hormone Balancing. I am able to give diet and lifestyle advice should the client wish to have this.

I am passionate about helping ladies transition through this time in their lives in a positive way. To look upon it as a time to focus on themselves and choose who they want to be, and value themselves.
